A Janesville man is arrested for drunken driving for the 11th time.
The Rock County Sheriff’s Office says deputies responded to a residence in a trailer park on the 6200 block of South Highway 51 just before 6:00 Tuesday morning on the report of a disturbance between a man and a woman. The man left in vehicle before deputies arrived.
The driver, 64-year-old Peter Hansen Smith of Janesville was later seen in the area and a deputy made contact with him to question him about the disturbance.
Smith, who showed signs of intoxication, admitted to drinking before driving. He complied to a field sobriety test and was arrested on a felony charge of 11th-offense OWI.
