The Janesville Police Department is warning motorists about the emergency closure of eastbound Ruger Avenue.
According to a news release, the eastbound lane of Ruger Avenue is closed between Hillside Court and South Harmony Drive due to a large sink hole.
While the westbound lane remains open, eastbound traffic is being detoured onto Hillside Court, Cherokee Road, and south Harmony Drive.
The closure may be in effect until Thursday.
