Blackhawk Technical College is adding its name to a growing list of schools moving classes on-line to reduce the spread of the coronavirus. Campus spokesperson Jennifer Thompson says classes are being suspended this coming Monday and Tuesday. Thompson says this is spring break week, so suspending classes for two days will give faculty time to prepare for on-line instruction. She says the transition should be relatively seamless since students already use a web based learning management system to communicate with teachers and get some classroom materials. Classes resume remotely on Wednesday.
