Beloit police arrest a juvenile who issued a threat of violence at Beloit Memorial High School.
The police department responded to the school Wednesday morning after a student posted the threat on social media.
Police would not say what type of threat was made.
The school went into a lockdown as a precaution, and officers determined the threat was not credible.
After investigating, police identified the student, who was arrested for felony terrorist threat and transported to the Rock County Juvenile Detention Center.
Police said they take these threats of violence seriously and appreciate those who report them.
