So far the race for Wisconsin’s 44th Assembly District seat is a contest between current and former Janesville City Council members.
Republican Duwayne Severson, who previously served three years on the council announced Friday he’s running against current City Council member, Democrat Sue Conley.
The two are running to replace Democrat Deb Kolste of Janesville who recently announced she would not be seeking re-election.
