As local health officials await results of COVID-19 tests sent to the state health lab, one area health care provider is expanding its offerings.
SSM Health announced Friday it will offer a free virtual evaluation for anyone concerned about their symptoms of or exposure to coronavirus.
A news release said the evaluation includes a series of questions about a patient’s symptoms and potential exposure.
Based on those answers, the patient may then be connected to a medical provider to form a care plan.
SSM Health said the response time will be dependent on the volume of testing it receives.
