Citing a severe blood shortage, the Red Cross says donation opportunities will be available in the Janesville-Beloit area over the next few weeks. Spokesperson Laura McGuire says over the last few days coronavirus concerns have prompted the cancellation of 67 blood drives in Wisconsin, but the Red Cross donation centers are still open. McGuire says extreme safety protocols are being taken at the donation centers and donors are asked to make an appointment on-line at Red-Cross-Blood-dot-org.
