The City of Janesville works to keep citizens informed in the face of a global health pandemic.
Emergency Operations Center Section Chief Maggie Darr provided an update on the current COVID-19 response via a live video stream Wednesday morning.
Darr says stores remain well stocked although there have been shortages reported of sanitizers and disinfectant products.
So far the City of Janesville has spent $31,420 in response to the Coronavirus.
Janesville Fire Chief and Emergency Operations Commander Ernie Rhodes reminded citizens that there is still plenty of food on the store shelves, the lights are on, the water is running, and the streets are clear and safe.
Citizens can watch the live broadcasts each day at 8:30 a.m. on the City’s website.
