The United Way Blackhawk Region announces the creation of a COVID-19 relief fund.

President and CEO Mary Fanning-Penny says the board of directors approved $100,00 in reserve funds to seed it.

Board Chair Al Hulick says citizens who want to donate can do so online.

The United Way is also directing citizens to it’s 2-1-1 hotline where that can get information about services and programs that are available to help during this public health emergency.
