A local health care provider will have a little more money to combat the spread of COVID-19 thanks to a government grant. The Department of Health and Human Services is releasing funds through the Coronavirus Preparedness and Response Supplemental Funding program. Community Health System and the Beloit Area Community Health Center will receive close to $65 thousand. The funds can be used for screening and testing needs, medical supplies, and enhancing telehealth capabilities.
