Traffic slowdowns are expected Friday on the Interstate near Beloit. The Department of Transportation reports a single lane closure on I-39/90 near the I-43/Highway-81 interchange from 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Crews will be making pavement repairs in the right lane. The I-43 southbound ramp to I-39/90 northbound will be closed about the same time. The DOT recommends planning ahead, allowing extra time, and remain alert for crews and equipment near the travel lanes.
