Voters are being urged to cast their ballot by mail, but Rock County Clerk Lisa Tollefson says time may be running out. Tollefson says the deadline to request an absentee ballot by mail is Thursday, but questions if the turn-around time will allow it to arrive by the 8:00 p.m. election day deadline. She urgest anyone voting by mail to send their ballot in immediately. Ballots can also be dropped off at the municipal clerk’s office. The polls will still be open on election day, but Tollefson says expect things to be very different with social distancing and long waits.
