AAA Wisconsin reports gas in the Janesville-Beloit area Monday cost $1.26 a gallon. A month ago the price was $2.22 and a year ago $2.66 a gallon. The state average is $1.44, and the national average $1.93 a gallon. Low demand is the major contributing factor.
