A new smart phone app is expected to help a local school district both improve communication with students, but also provide better access to online educational materials. Beloit Schools is rolling out the app weeks early in response to needs brought about by the health crisis. District Chief of Communications Monica Krysztopa says the app was tested by high school students who said it was just what they wanted. Krysztopa says it’ll offer information and access to almost anything the district puts online, including a newsfeed feature. She says a tutorial is also on the district’s website.
