Janesville Superintendent Steve Pophal is hopeful the need for social distancing will end in time for a large gathering, but if it doesn’t before the end of summer, other options will need to be considered. Pophal plans to discuss the matter with students to find an alternative way to honor graduates. He says residents can help. The high schools have come up with yard signs to show how much the community appreciates student’s accomplishments.
