Gas prices still dropping

Demand for gasoline is reaching lows not seen since 1968. AAA Wisconsin reports consumption is down 44% since the onset of the pandemic. AAA says Monday’s average price in the Janesville-Beloit area was $1.20 a gallon. That’s down 85-cents a gallon from a month ago and $1.50 from last year. AAA suggests other influences may impact the price of gas in the days to come. On Sunday, the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries, led by Saudi Arabia, announced historic global crude productions cuts for May and June.
