A local college is turning to its own nursing program to help area health care providers. Blackhawk Technical College Marketing and Communication Director Jennifer Thompson says the school is donating hospital beds to SSM Health in Janesville and Monroe. Thompson says the school is doing what it can to help those on the front line of the health crisis, especially since many BTC graduates are among them. In addition to the hospital beds, the college has previously provided N-95 masks, nitrile gloves, thermometers, face shields, sanitizer, sanitizing wipes, and other Personal Protective Equipment.
