A local community shows its continued support of the school district by renewing operational funding through a successful referendum. Parkview Superintendent Steve Lutzke says the roughly one-million dollars a year for the next three years will fund technology and curriculum initiatives, enhance academic programming, and retain quality staff. Lutzke says community support has been very strong since the successful $17 million building referendum in 2014. He says the referendum will have little impact on the tax rate because it replaces a retiring operational referendum.
