Another local school district makes the decision to cancel or postpone all events through May. Beloit Schools sent out a letter this week with the news. The letter makes special mention of seniors. The Interim Superintendent explained how seniors deserved and had earned recognitions, prom, sporting events, club meetings, and more. Beloit Memorial High School Principal Emily Pelz says teachers are doing their best to connect and engage students in a fun way outside of distance learning. Pelz says they’ve produced videos to share, and are also hosting a virtual spirit week. Graduation is still set for June 6th, but Pelz admits just what that will entail is still up in the air.
