A local Congressman suggests we begin planning now to vote by mail in November. Mark Pocan of Madison says the health professionals he trusts warn of a potential COVID-19 flare up in the fall. Pocan says we don’t want to end up scrambling again, as we did this month, with so many conflicting election decisions being so poorly executed. The Democrat suggests the 71% absentee voter rate in the spring election proves voting by mail would work in Wisconsin.
