Since food is considered an essential service under “Safe at Home” rules, the Janesville Farmers Market is being allowed to open for another summer season. Manager Emily Arther says the market will have a very different look with the health of visitors and venders in mind. Arthur says for starters, visitors will all have to enter on Wall Street. Social distancing will be maintained, and customers will only be able to touch the products they purchase. Only one person per household will be allowed and facemasks are encouraged. Arthur suggests planning ahead with a visit to their website. The Farmers Market opens a week from Saturday.
