Rockford police arrest two teenagers for a robbery at a CVS Pharmacy in Janesville.
18-year-old Steven Wheeler and 17-year-old Jaheem Hammond-Fields, both of Illinois, are charged with battery and robbery with use of force in Rock County Court.
The two were arrested in Rockford last weekend after case workers with the Illinois Department of Health and Family Services identified them based on security footage distributed by Janesville police.
The criminal complaint said the men assaulted a clerk at the convenience store on Milton Avenue before stealing $255 from the cash register and fleeing in a car parked across the street at McDonalds.
Both Wheeler and Hammond-Fields are being held in the Rock County Jail on $11,000 cash bonds.
