Social distancing may be prompting more people to take up fishing. It’s a Keeper Bait and Tackle Shop owner Shawn McCarten in Janesville tells The Stan Milam Show on WCLO he’s seen a big jump in people who want to take up the sport. McCarten says families are going stir crazy and want to try something new. He says he enjoys setting them up with the basics and telling them how to catch fish. Although overjoyed to see the new faces, McCarten admits as a small business owner he is struggling under the current health restrictions on his business.
