A Delavan woman will be placed on probation for her role in a drug dealing operation in Janesville.
19-year-old Kayla Ramirez pleaded guilty to possession with intent to deliver marijuana and LSD, and Rock County Judge John Wood agreed to dismiss charges of maintaining a drug trafficking place and possession of drug paraphernalia as part of a plea deal.
He withheld sentencing and placed her on six years of probation with 180 days of conditional jail time, which she is asking to be served in Walworth County where she now lives and works.
Police searched the home of Ramirez and her former boyfriend Justus Lock on the 400 block of Harding Street in Janesville back in April of 2019. In their shared bedroom, officers found a safe containing approximately two pounds of marijuana, 35 doses of LSD and $3,900 in cash.
Ramirez admitted to police that she would drive Lock to the Delavan area to sell the drugs.
He was sentenced to three years in prison and three years of extended supervision on similar charges last month.
