Police are asking for the public’s help in finding 20 golf carts stolen off of a semi truck trailer.
The truck was reported stolen from Brown’s Service Wisconsin Golf in Walworth on April 24 and seen driving northbound on Highway 14.
The trailer carrying the golf carts was later seen on security footage at the Pilot Travel Center in Beloit near Interstate 39/90 and Highway 81.
Police located the semi truck and trailer in Chicago on Saturday, but the 20 golf carts it was hauling are still missing, so police issued a statewide crime alert Wednesday.
