City of Janesville officials are keeping tabs on grocery store operations. Assistant to the City Manager Maggie Darr says stories about COVID-19 outbreaks in meat processing plants prompted public interest in the supply chain. Darr says a recent survey shows local grocers aren’t expecting significant disruptions and many have secondary suppliers just in case. She adds most grocery stores are also requiring employees to wear face masks, and the one that isn’t, does offer face masks to all employees.
