More relief may be on the way for Janesville businesses suffering economic losses due to COVID-19. City Manager Mark Freitag Tuesday told a Forward Janesville teleconference with members, plans are in the works for a number of supportive measures. Freitag says they include a social media campaign to promote buying local, postponement of payments into the revolving loan fund, and an easing of job creation requirements within Tax Incremental Finance Districts. A presentation is expected before the city council during their meeting next Monday night.
