Beloit police arrest three men in connection with a report of shots fired early Wednesday morning.
Officers were dispatched to the area of Liberty Avenue and 10th Street just after 6:00 a.m. after callers reported hearing gun shots.
At least one witness saw men shooting a long gun in the air, and police confirmed the shots did not strike any people, vehicles or buildings.
Officers arrested two 16-year-old males for possession of a firearm by a felon, and 30-year-old Martin Leon was arrested for possession of marijuana and a number of charges from previous incidents.
Court records show Leon has previous felony convictions for discharging a firearm from a vehicle and first-degree recklessly endangering safety.
