A local chamber of commerce is seeing a lot of support for its charitable arm during the pandemic. Milton Area Chamber of Commerce Director Dani Stivarius says community members and businesses have donated more than $30-thousand to the “Shining Stars” program over the last couple of months. Stivarius says “Shining Stars” was started by the chamber’s ambassadors to benefit Milton School District families in need. She says donations go to things like locally purchased gift cards for food and children’s clothing.
