Beloit man accused of causing injuries in hit and run

A 27-year-old Beloit man is facing a number of charges after a hit and run crash.  The Rock County Sheriff’s Office reports Timothy Holmes was driving West on highway 67 about 7:00 p.m. Friday and rear ended another vehicle turning south onto Stateline Road.  Both cars ended up in the ditch, and the driver and an occupant of the lead car were severely injured.  After about an hour, authorities say Holmes and his two passenger were apprehended.  All needed hospital treatment.  Holmes was arrested on charges including hit and run causing great bodily harm, knowingly operating while revoked causing great bodily harm, and reckless driving causing great bodily harm.  All felony charges.
