A 55-year-old Beloit woman is facing drunk driving charges after being stopped on the 4th of July. The Rock County Sheriff’s Office reports Dawn M. Spencer was pulled over near the intersection of West Highway 11 and South County Highway G in La Prairie Township. Deputies say Spencer displayed signs of being intoxicated and admitted she had been drinking. She was arrested on a charge of 4th Offense Operating While Intoxicated. She was also cited for three counts of Operating While Intoxicated with a passenger under 16-year-of age in the vehicle. She was taken to the Rock County Jail to await a court appearance Monday.
