Janesville School District residents are being asked their opinion on how to best deal with facility and financial needs. Public Information Officer Patrick Gasper says residents can respond through a simple survey. Gasper says the district’s average building is almost 70-years-old and a consultant’s study a couple years ago showed more than $100 million in needed upkeep. Additionally, due to declines in student enrollment that directly impact the district’s operational budget, the board is also looking to avoid significant reductions to address future budget deficits. Gasper says the survey takes about 15-minutes, but will only be available until the end of the month. He says the survey can be found on-line at www.sdjsurvey.org. https://fs20.formsite.com/jfdonova/79sc8qmowe/index.html
