The Rock County Health Department is offering families a little back-to-school guidance. The health department has prepared a “COVID-19 Brochure for Parents”. The brochure can be found on the health department’s website. It offers a variety of advice including when not to send children to school, what to do if a child has COVID-19 symptoms, and guidelines if someone comes in close contact with someone testing positive. The health department has also developed a data dashboard that contains county-wide measures that will provide information about COVID-19 trends for school districts in Rock County. This data is meant to give school leaders a sense of the county-wide trends as they make decisions about their districts.
