Rep. Pocan works to reassure voters about mail-in ballots

A local congressman is calling for the resignation of the postmaster general over going issues with the United States Postal Service.
Representative Mark Pocan said the house will be back in session on Saturday to vote on undoing many of the recent changes implemented by Louis DeJoy, the postmaster general appointed by President Trump in May.
The Democrat from Black Earth says Trump and DeJoy are creating chaos and confusion about mail delivery ahead of the November election, which is expected to include an unprecedented number of absentee ballots.
Pocan is ensuring voters that these mail-in ballots will arrive with plenty of time to be filled out and returned to municipal clerks to count in the election.
DeJoy said he is pausing his proposed changes to the postal service until after the election, but Pocan wants to see legislation passed to make sure that happens.
