Janesville City Manager Mark Freitag says local law enforcement stands ready to respond, if the type of violent protests seen in other American cities, including Kenosha, bubbles over here. Freitag tells Your Talk Show on WCLO he doesn’t expect a need though, because of the police department’s professionalism and proactive training, as well as a general sense of support from the public. Freitag does says he’s troubled by the current lack of civility in society, and suggests residents consider what they’ve done personally to be kind to others.
