Employment appears to rebound a bit in July. The Department of Workforce Development reports the unemployment rate dropped in the state’s 33 largest cities including Janesville and Beloit. The local unemployment rate dropped to 8.2% in July. Down from 9.9% in June. The rate one year ago in the Janesville-Beloit area was a mere 4%.
