A Mercy Hospital and Trauma Center Doctor in Janesville is singled out as the First Congressional District’s Health Care Professional of the Year for his efforts to treat COVID-19 patients. Dr. Frank Brodkey of Milton humbly says he’s just doing his job. Congressman Brian Steil of Janesville presented the honors Thursday. Steil also recognized nurses Emily Bundy, Casey Stubbs, and the Mercy COVID-19 unit team as Health Care Heroes.
