Local municipal clerks are busy stuffing envelopes to mail out absentee ballots. Rock County Clerk Lisa Tollefson says mailings were delayed while the supreme court considered the Green Party’s request to be on the ballot. Tollefson says the high court has decided against taking up the case, so ballots will go out this week. She says some 50-thousand are expected to be mailed in Rock County, representing a little more than half the registered voters.
