A former Beloit woman receives probation after felony charges from three separate Rock County cases were dismissed in a plea agreement.

56-year-old Lori Lozoya pleaded guilty to felony bail jumping, and Rock County Judge Barbara McCrory sentenced her Wednesday to 18 months of probation.

Other charges dismissed in the plea agreement include discharging bodily fluid at a public safety worker, making terrorist threats, disorderly conduct, possession of THC and obstructing an officer.

Lozoya was accused of coughing and spitting on a police officer back in April, telling them she had coronavirus before defecating in the squad car.

In a June incident, police said she threatened to shoot up a Beloit Health System clinic.

Lozoya remains in custody in Fond Du Lac county, where she has two other pending felony cases. Online court records show she also has felony cases ongoing in Shawano and Marquette counties.

Defense attorney Kevin Smith said she has struggled with recent financial issues and the death of her mother, which led to alcohol issues and the various incidents in the last year.
