The Rock County Medical Examiner’s Office is releasing the names of the two people killed Tuesday in a motorcycle crash in the town of Magnolia.

The Rock County Sheriff’s Office responded to the collision on North Highway 104 just after 4:00 Tuesday afternoon.

Investigators believe the motorcycle driven by 67-year-old Albert H. Kath III of Janesville crashed into the back of a pickup truck that was stopped on the highway while waiting to turn west onto Dunphy Road.

The sheriff’s office says Kath and his passenger, 57-year-old Tammy S. Northrup of Beloit were not wearing helmets and were pronounced dead at the scene after being ejected by the crash.

The Medical Examiner says preliminary results from the autopsy indicate that Kath and Northrup died from injuries sustained in the crash.
