Democratic 45th Assembly District Representative Mark Spreitzer of Beloit defeats Republican challenger Tawny Gustina.
The Beloit Democrat easily won the race on a 54.9% to 45.1% margin, garnering 2,500 more votes than Gustina.
This is the Beloit Democrat’s fourth term in the State Assembly after previously serving four years on the Beloit City Council.
Gustina is a former teacher and coach who currently works in human resources.
