The Janesville Fire Department responds to a small explosion at the Kwik Trip convenience store located at the corner of Highways 51 and 11.
According to the battalion chief, first responders were dispatched to the store south of town just after 12:30 Thursday afternoon.
The explosion occurred at the compressed natural gas pumps and injured one person who was transported to the hospital with unknown injuries.
No damage occurred to the building and firefighters remained on scene to allow fuel to drain on from a van on scene.
