Blackhawk Community Credit Union’s plans for a GM Legacy Center that were put on hold due to the pandemic could eventually include a partnership with the Rock County Historical Society.

RCHS Executive Director Tim Maahs says BHCCU has already loaned the historical society some of it’s General Motors artifacts so that they could be put on display.

Maahs says previously RCHS only had two dimensional pictures of the 100-year-old plant.

Maahs says he’s confident when economic conditions improve Blackhawk Community Credit Union will find a way to move forward with the legacy center, even if it involves a partnership.
