Milton Superintendent defends decision to sell used devices and buy new ones

Milton School District Superintendent Richard Dahman is defending the School Boards decision to sell off the district’s iPads and laptops and buy new ones from Apple.
Dahman says used devices are selling at an all-time high right now and the district likely would not get as much money selling their used devices when the lease is up in two years.
Dahman says the district will be able to replace all of their devices and buy additional ones for less than they are paying now because of the annual lease payments.
Dahman says he expects to bring the details of the finalized deal to the School Board on December 14th.
