Citizens of Beloit who are interested in running for City Council this spring have until the end of the day on January 5th to turn in their paperwork.
City Clerk Lori Stottler says the three seats up for election on April 6th include those belonging to Clinton Anderson, Sherry Blakely, and Nancy Forbeck.
Stottler says all three incumbents have indicated they intend to run and several people have take out paperwork but no one else has declared their candidacy.
