A 22-year-old Janesville man is under arrest for impersonating a peace officer.
According to a news release, on December 11th a woman reported that a vehicle got behind her on Milton Avenue and Humes Road and displayed red and blue flashing lights. When she pulled over, the vehicle pulled up next to her and the driver appeared to be laughing.
Tuesday an off-duty Janesville Police Officer observed a 2008 Impala driven by Blake H. Davis displaying illegal colored flashing lights with traveling south on Milton Avenue.
An officer stopped the vehicle and Davis admitted he had color-changing LED lights in his headlight housing.
Davis was arrested and released with a court date.
