A Monroe man faces multiple felony charges for inappropriately touching a young girl he knows in Janesville.
33-year-old Roger Jewell is charged in Rock County Court with first-degree sexual assault of a child under the age of 13 and exposing himself to a child.
Janesville police interviewed the 10-year-old victim earlier this month, and she reported that Jewell touched her over her clothes and touched himself while they were in his car in a retail parking lot.
The criminal complaint says the incident occurred when Jewell took the girl to a Janesville chiropractor in December of 2019, but child protective services reported the accusations to police in December of 2020.
A judge issued a warrant for Jewell’s arrest on Thursday.
