A former Town of Beloit man is facing prosecution for a child sex assault charge, five months after police issued a warrant for his arrest.
40-year-old Andrew Mueller, who now lists a Milton address, is charged in Rock County Court with first-degree sexual assault of a child under the age of 13.
Town of Beloit police interviewed a then-11-year-old girl back in May, who revealed that Mueller showed her pornographic videos on multiple occasions and involved her in what police called his “foot fetish.”
Online records show Mueller did not appear for his initial court hearing back on July 13, so the Rock County Sheriff’s Office issued a warrant for his arrest.
That warrant was returned last Wednesday, when he made his first court appearance in custody from the Rock County jail.
A court commissioner set a $500 cash bail and ordered Mueller to have no intentional contact with any juvenile.
