The United Way Blackhawk Region celebrates a gift of $100,000 from Mark and Kathy Bush.  United Way officials say the gift is intended to inspire donors to help the organization attain its $2.4 million fundraising goal.  Officials have acknowledged strong headwinds with this year’s campaign.  Most local workplace campaigns were canceled for pandemic related health reasons.  The United Way Blackhawk Region is currently little more than half-way to its goal.  The Bush’s say they’ve witness how valuable United Way is to the community, and implore anyone fortunate enough to be in a position to give, to do so.  The Bush family owned and operated Data Dimensions for 33-years.
