A 32-year-old Janesville man is facing drunk driving charges after a domestic disturbance. The Rock County Sheriff’s Office says deputies were called to a home in the 62-hundred block of South Highway 51 about 10:30 p.m. Sunday on a report Ryan H. Avery had hit a woman at the residence. Deputies say Avery drove away before they arrived, but was pulled over a short distance from the residence and displayed sighs of being intoxicated. Deputies say he admitted to drinking before driving and was arrested on a charge of Operating while Intoxicated 4th Offense.
